Ford Pickup Trucks Win Kelley Blue Book 5-Year Cost to Own Awards

The 2021 Ford Ranger and Ford F-150 won Best Midsize Pickup Truck and Best Full-Size Pickup Truck respectively in KBB’s 5-Year Cost to Own awards, beating out competitors in both categories.

Kelley Blue Book uses data like purchase price, projected depreciation, and insurance costs to calculate the lowest cost to own vehicles over a five-year period. These are the vehicles that will not only have fantastic value when you buy them, but also terrific value after five years with little cost to the owner.

Ford trucks have a reputation for reliability and safety, so it should come as no surprise to see them win these awards. With trucks being the type of vehicle that you want to keep running well for years on end, this is a great way to tell what trucks you should pay close attention to.
