The 2021 Ford Bronco Sport Wins Fifth Top Safety Pick, Second Top Safety Pick+

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has recognized the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport with their Top Safety Pick+ award. This makes it the fifth 2021 Ford SUV to earn a Top Safety Pick award, and it joins the 2021 Ford Explorer as a Top Safety Pick+ winner.

In order to qualify for the Top Safety Pick+ award, vehicles must get a good rating on six crashworthiness tests. They must also have an advanced or superior rating for available front crash prevention for both vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-pedestrian, and acceptable or good headlights standard.

The 2021 Bronco Sport not only received good ratings on all crashworthiness tests but also received a superior rating on both the standard and available crash prevention systems for both categories and a good rating on its headlights, making it one of the safest SUVs on the market.
